Leaving Home in my 20s
I am Arzu and thats my story

I am a female Entrepreneur, in my twenties, a Polyglot and the youngest of five children. My father immigrated from Pakistan to Germany in 1974, where I was born and raised. On New Year’s Eve, I took the boldest decision of my life: I resigned from my full-time job at Germany’s Number 1 employer, SAP Headquarters in Waldorf and moved to Sydney, Australia. No network. No job. Barely knowing anyone. Just two suitcases. I started completely from scratch. I was fortunate that I got my first full time job at the German-Australian Chamber of Industry & Commerce, where I learned to navigate the business ecosystem and built a strong German-Australian network.

But those who know me, know I’ve always been drawn to sustainable, natural beauty. My grandmother and her grandmother were herbalists. Long before it was considered a trend, they worked with the earth, healing with herbs, roots, and oils passed down through generations. I have created and innovated my own haircare product, an Ayurvedic hair oil for Scalp, Hair, Brows & Beard. Designed to restore confidence and regrow hair back.

I have opened my own Headspa Clinic called the Headspa Temple in the heart of Sydney’s Business District next to Hyde Park. On the same street as Chanel, Dior, Hermès, Bottega & BVLGARI.

I am all going in, there is no Plan B just Plan A. Knowing that I have nothing to loose gives me more power and lets me go all in. My advice for anyone dreaming of starting abroad is: Leaving your hometown in your 20s is a life hack. It forces you to grow, to adapt, and to discover who you really are. It makes you resilient. Sometimes being naive at the beginning is a blessing, it allows you to start making the impossible, possible. You dont need to know everything just start and find it out during the process.

Where was the Recipe initially made?

"Let me take you back to 1927, to my family garden where women passed down not just beauty secrets, but healing rituals.

The recipe was born in my family garden in South Asia, where the Indian Gooseberry grows. The Indian Gooseberry is celebrated as the “king of herbs” for its scalp-nourishing properties.

This oil was more than Beauty, it was Medicine, it was nourishment, it was care.

At PBM, we believe that the best care comes from nature. That’s why every ingredient in our formula is carefully organically selected to ensure the highest quality and purity.

Each component is 100% organic, sourced responsibly and chosen for its proven ability to nourish the scalp, strengthen the hair, and promote natural growth.

Enjoy!"

Arzu’s Ancestors were Herbalists. Their hands worked with Plants, Roots, and Oils to heal through Nature.

"My grandmother and her grandmother were Herbalists. They knew how to work with the earth, long before it was considered a trend. They healed themselves using Herbs, Roots, and Oils passed down through generations, remedies gathered from Gardens and Forests. This plant-based Medicine wasn’t just treatment. It was ritual, it was connection. It was love. That Philosophy of Ayurveda healing lives on in my product today. Ayurveda is a 5,000-year-old holistic system and was originated in India.

“Ayur” means life.

“Veda” means knowledge.

So Ayurveda simply means “The knowledge of life”.

Nature is cure, true healing comes from natural elements from herbs, oils, and minerals, all rooted in nature and deeply intuitive.

Ayurveda helps awaken your body’s own intelligence to heal itself.

Think of hair as a Flower Seed. Without the right nourishment and care, it can’t grow. Your hair needs intensive massages and proper nourishment in order to become a big mane. Scalp massages promote blood flow and stimulate Hair Growth. PBM, with its caffeine-infused formula, activates your roots for significant hair growth. In the South Asian culture, shiny, healthy hair is seen as a symbol of Fertility & Youth.

Enjoy!"

Why did a True Gap exist in the Global Hair Care market?

"When you take a closer look at the haircare market, a significant gap becomes obvious. Most products out there offer nothing more than a superficial illusion of health, a temporary gloss achieved through silicones, synthetic perfumes and cosmetic fillers. They coat the hair from the outside, adding a brief shine, but fail to nourish or rebuild it from the root. There is no real healing, no sustainability, just surface level results that fade.

These conventional products do not support true hair regeneration. They ignore what healthy hair truly depends on a healthy scalp and optimal follicle function. Instead, they are packed with alcohols, silicones, fillers and artificial fragrances that may offer short term beauty but ultimately damage the scalp and weaken hair over time.

I grew up in a family where haircare was not just a routine it was a ritual. Every Sunday, we would gather as a family and massage a hand blended oil into our scalps. It was an ancestral formula, passed down through five generations. This was not just about beauty it was about deep healing, care and connection.

Years later, living in a modern city, I searched for something that would bring that ritual back into my life. But all I found were pretty bottles promising shine, nothing that nourished, nothing that went deep. That is when I asked myself:

Why is there no product that rebuilds the hair from within and looks like it belongs in a luxury boutique

That is exactly how I got the idea for PrettyBigMane.

The answer became PrettyBigMane.

Enjoy!"
